Terms of engagement

These terms govern the use of nie-marbella.com and the enquiries sent through it. By writing to us through a form or by email, you accept them.

A private, independent desk

nie-marbella.com is privately owned and independent. It explains, and helps prepare, the procedures for foreigners’ numbers, green certificates, residence cards and the town register in Marbella and the province of Málaga. No administration stands behind it, and it can neither decide nor hasten nor guarantee the outcome of an application.

The nature of the folios

Each guide here is general information, prepared carefully from the official sources it cites. Rules, forms and office arrangements change, and a guide is not advice on your own case. Before acting on a point that matters to you, confirm it with the source named beside it, or ask us.

Enquiries

Sending an enquiry creates no contract and no obligation on either side: it asks us to reply. Should you then wish to be assisted, the scope of the work and its price are stated to you in writing and accepted by you before anything begins, whether the work is carried out by us or by the partner firm that takes on your file.

State fees, and who decides

State fees, the Modelo 790 código 012 among them, go to the administration and are separate from any fee for assistance. Decisions on a NIE, a certificate, a card or a permit belong to the authorities alone; an appointment or a complete file does not guarantee a favourable decision.

Liability

We answer for the care with which we prepare what you ask of us. We are not liable for decisions of the administration, for changes in the rules after a page was written, or for delays caused by the availability of appointments.
