Cita previa NIE Marbella: securing the appointment
To book a cita previa for a NIE in Marbella, open the administration’s Cita Previa Extranjería site, sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es, and choose the province of Málaga, then the procedure, then an office with free slots, the Comisaría de Marbella among them. No police office of the province sees foreigners without one.

Slots are published by province and by procedure. For the NIE, the stations that appear depend on which of them are offering it that day: Marbella, Estepona, Fuengirola, Torremolinos-Benalmádena, Ronda, Antequera, Vélez-Málaga and the provincial brigade in Málaga all list it in the online directory of the Policía Nacional; the police stations of the province are described one by one in their own guide.

Before you book
Each procedure has a booking of its own: the NIE certificate requested on form EX-15, the EU registration certificate, the toma de huellas for a TIE. A slot taken under the wrong one is of no use on the day.
- Have your passport number ready exactly as it is printed
- Pay the 790-012 fee before the appointment and keep the receipt
- Prepare the form and the supporting papers, so the slot is not wasted
The morning of the appointment
Arrive a little early, with originals and copies, the confirmation of your appointment and the paid fee. The time and the office are those printed on the confirmation, which is the document to trust if information elsewhere differs.

Must the appointment be in Marbella?
Not necessarily. The booking site offers the offices of the province that have slots for your procedure. For Benahavís or Estepona, Estepona may be closer; for Mijas, Fuengirola.
What does the appointment cost?
Nothing. The procedure has its own state tasa, settled beforehand on a Modelo 790 under código 012.
