The fine print
Privacy statement
This statement sets out how nie-marbella.com handles the personal details that reach it through its forms or by email, and what you may ask of us about them.
What reaches us, and how
The enquiry and correspondence forms ask for your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, nationality, the procedure that concerns you and a message. We also receive the technical information any website records when a form is sent, such as the date and the IP address, used to protect the forms against abuse.
Why
We use these details to reply to your enquiry and, if you ask for assistance, to prepare it. We rely on two grounds: the pre-contractual steps you request, and our legitimate interest in keeping the forms safe from misuse. We do not use your details for advertising and we do not sell them.
Who receives them
Your enquiry may be passed to the partner firm that would assist you, for that purpose only, and it passes through the companies that run our hosting and our mail, bound by contract to protect it. Nothing is sent to an administration without your instruction.
How long
We erase an enquiry that goes no further when it has no remaining use. When assistance follows, the file stays for the periods the law sets for that kind of work, and is then erased.
What you may ask of us
The GDPR entitles you to see what we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to limit how we use it or oppose that use, and to take a copy with you in a machine-readable form. Write to concierge@nie-marbella.com; we answer within the time the GDPR allows. A complaint can also be lodged with Spain’s data protection authority, the AEPD, at aepd.es.
Cookies
Cookies here are limited to the ones a secure form submission depends on. Nothing is set for advertising or for tracking.
