In Marbella

From Marbella, Estepona lies to the west and Fuengirola to the east along the A-7, with the provincial brigade in Málaga city. When the Comisaría de Marbella has no slots we look across all of them, and tell you exactly which office your confirmation names.

Questions

Is the Comisaría de Marbella my only option?

No. The booking site shows the offices of the province that have slots for your procedure. Estepona and Fuengirola are the closest alternatives along the coast.

What is the difference between extranjería and the police?

In everyday Spanish, extranjería covers both. Strictly, the police handle the NIE, EU registration and TIE cards, while the government’s Oficina de Extranjería decides authorisations such as residence and work permits.

What are the opening hours?

The police directory does not publish them for these units. Your appointment confirmation states the time and the office.
